I have visited it lately. That’s a nice spacious venue where they arrange exhibitions. The one I attended is the display of works of an American artist Lee Mulllican. I enjoyed it immensely! I learned a new artist whose works left some imprint on me in terms of the technique they are all performed. Cosmic and enigmatic - that’s how I can call them.
Inside the gallery, there is a tiny library with lots of books about art and a big table in the centre. I spent some time exploring a book on Lee Mulllican’s art.
The gallery appealed to me, and the reception lady was very nice sharing with me a booklet on Chelsea art galleries.
To sum up, I highly recommend it! Enjoy art!
An extremely interesting museum. They arrange free tours about the house. It was very informative and educational.
One of the murals executed by Fernando Kobra. Probably, it is one of the biggest pieces of his art projects in NYC. It represents the idea of immigrants that came to Ellis island as their first destination in the US. Fantastic!
NYC must see! One of the murals by Fernando Kobra! Witty and vivid street art not to miss!
