M. Showers

On my initial visit, one winter weekend day, following a period of rainy days, I was greatly impressed by the cascade of water in the outflow. Being a photographer, I was captivated for several hours.
The trails, views, and open space offer families, couples, and those who enjoy natural surroundings a wonderful location to enjoy. There is limited parking, considering, proximity to urban population. Given its open year-round and parking is not gated, there is opportunity fir all.

Our pre-season lunch was good. Friendly attentive service.
Had the short rib burger thoroughly saturated with sweet sauce with fries. Great, if you are after sweetness!

Wonderful suburban nature retreat. The severe weather has taken it's toll on the trees; but, that's nature.
A great place for dog walkers.
The entrances and signage are less visible from the street. Street parking is the only parking.
Seems main entrance is via Riverview Dr & Riverview Drive West in Montclair. Best to search using a mapping software as this intersection is secluded also.
Once inside the park, the seclusion is a benefit.
