Bucom Macbook Laptop Repair Parts
***BE WARNED THIS SHOP DOES NOT HONOR THEIR GUARANTEES ON LAPTOP BATTERIES***
I had bought a battery for my macbook pro online from this shop. With the bill I was send the terms and conditions stating the battery was guaranteed against defects for one year.
After about 10 months the battery failed and swelled up. I contacted the shop and after they ignored me for some time I went to the shop in person. They claimed the guarantee was only for 6 months, also claiming apples policy is also only for 6 months (I later found out on apple’s website that they guarantee their macbook pro batteries for one year). In the end the shop said they would only replace the battery if I paid 50 euros more.
I ended up going to a different shop and getting a higher quality battery, with a one year guarantee and for only 9 euros more. Lesson learned and I would not recommend this shop at all.
