Kazungula Border
This place is spectacular for its simplicity and fast crossing logistics. The Border is on the Zimbabwean side from Botswana into Zimbabwe. It is operated by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) and the Department of Immigration. The border post is not very busy and those who want to cross from Botswana to Victoria Falls town or cross through to Zambia will find it handy. Until just now where a new bridge (see pictures) is being finished between Botswana and Zambia, the alternative crossing would be a boat ferry (see picture as well).
You should definitely use this crossing point if you are coming to Victoria Falls from South Africa or Botswana as it is the nearest and most convenient crossing available. After crossing, you have 82km only through a national park where you may be lucky to see some various animals.
Without crossing to Botswana, you have an opportunity to walk or drive to Kazungula Bridge to see the spectacular new bridge that joins three countries, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia. You can do that while on the Zimbabwean soil.
