Honest Chops Butchery
A good place to buy Halal meat. The timings change based on the Summers and Winters. Please make sure to call ahead and check.
Also my advice would be to select cuts and the type of meat and place the order online. They often run out of red lean meat options from what I have seen.
The butcher is nice and kind and very professional.
I wish they had Turkey options besides thanksgiving.

La Pecora Bianca Midtown
Loved the dessert, did not like the food. We ordered Salads, Pasta and a Margarita Pizza. Did not like any of those and I was surprised because NYC is known for amazing Pizza.
But I totally loved my dessert - Tiramisu for 2 , it was tasty and the cutest sheep I have ever had. The 2 stars are for the dessert, the ambience and the nice service.

Istanbul Kebab House
Excellent food ! My friend and I came in for an early lunch on a Sunday and found the place pleasantly quiet. We ordered their red lentil soup- Mercimek (a must try) and Special Mixed grill Chicken. The meat was tender and flavorful and the owner was kind enough to serve us some Turkish tea in beautiful tea sets. For desserts, I ordered Kazandibi - hoping it would be extraordinary however I was not impressed.
The restaurant is small with limited seating and is mostly always crowded in the evening. On another occasion when i popped in during the evening time, I was met with a rude hostess who would not pay any attention to my take out order. If it was not for this incident I would have given it five stars.

6 months and counting, still have not received my refund for the month of Nov 2022. And the best part they have stopped answering their phone and their voicemail is full. (.... Continue reading for the full fact)
it been 5 months now I have called this establishment and spoken to every freaking person who works there and I still have not received my money back. I wish there was a polite term for me to express my frustration.
I was charged twice for a total of 478.62 for a monthly membership without my authorization or signing up for it.
The brilliant part now is that they don't even pick up their phone, don't acknowledge the emails I have sent them nor are they returning my money.
