Happy Hour vibe on a Friday:
The staff is very happy and friendly, which translates into you being happy and friendly. LOL
Buffalo Tots: portion size huge, crunchy, crispy, golden brown fried goodness. They do come with a Parmesan kind of cheesy sauce, and also a buffalo sauce on the side.
$6 for a 16oz well Gin and soda, make it a double for $9.
Atmos: What I like about this place is the late'90s, early 2000 vibe. They play Justin Timberlake right after Linkin Park. So do the math. Musical playlist is all over the place, but it's like Jack FM had a child with KIIS FM during that era.
Staff: on point! Friendly, nice, they take pride in working here. It shows because they are very attentive to your needs, and will accommodate your every request.
Parking: if you live in the area, that's probably going to be your best bet. Parking is street parking only, and it's mostly metered. You might get lucky and find something in the residential areas, but definitely read the signs and the posted parking rules.

The Bar:
I like this place, definitely a spot I would come back to again and again. The music on a Friday at 5pm is reminiscent of '70s rock... Tom Petty, Bob Seger, etc.
Their happy hour is Monday through Thursday 4p-6p. Lots of nice food and drink specials. I'll be back soon and post up more photos of that fun experience.
The atmosphere in here is very tropical, hawaiian, you get the idea. It's like Pirates meets a Shanghai saloon, who had a Fiji lovechild by way of Tahiti. Maybe? Lol.
It's a great date spot if you want to remain anonymous, and you know what I'm talking about! Sshhhh, I won't tell if you won't.

This is a great spot if you're feeling nostalgic, and want to reminisce about the 70s and '80s Tiki bars. I would definitely recommend this place to the locals, A tourist, a rolling pack of attorneys riding their choppers, or even just a spot to come in and have a appetizer and a drink on a Tuesday.

Fox Fire Room
Sunday 3pm, this place was on fire! Bigger crowd than expected, probably because of Football season. It was awesome nonetheless.

I came in for lunch.
The service is great! 1 guy doing waiter/bus boy duties because of Covid. And he's ontop of it all.
BUT.... The food... meh. Here's why...
The sushi... WAAAY TOO EXPENSIVE, and not my style. Everything was warm, Like A peculiar kind of room temperature warm. We got a California roll and a Eel Avocado cut roll just to try. Meh. Both were nothing special. 6 pieces each. I didn't taste the eel at all, and it got drowned in mush by the Avocado. The California roll wasn't all that. Honestly, the ones you buy prepacked at the supermarkets are better. No joke.
Pad Thai noodle was ok. A little too much sugar/sweet for my taste. A kid might like it though?
Sizzling chicken dish was Sizzling when they bring it out. It's ok, has a Curry flavor. There's no mention of the Curry on the menu. If I would have known, I never would have ordered it. The whole dish seemed a little "mushy."
As a matter of fact, the whole experience today seemed a little mushy. Most of the lights were on, but the place felt very under lit. When you walk in the door, I just felt like the whole place needed a shower.

The Habit Burger Grill
Great place for burgers. Parking is great too, lots of room in a huge lot.
They make a great patty melt. But it's not something that you see easily on the menu. You have to come to ask for it special. It's like the Santa Barbara burger (which comes with avocado).
Burgers are juicy and full of taste and flavor. Their french fries are nice and crispy and crunchy.
Great spot for tourists visiting from out of town as well.
