House Of Kebob
I was near liona vally helping a fri, when for lunch he said lets go for lunch, While driving around town there were many options, but we ended up here.
The place was empty, seemed like closing hour. But the service was just right.
We got 2 beef shawarma wrap and 2 drinks and price came out to 42$, the food was good but not 21$ plate, but then again the food was good.
The seasoning on the fries was bit much for me, otherwise 4.5 /5 for flavor.

Proper Pizza and Pasta
I was craving pizza so I walked over to proper pizza to see how proper was their pizzeria.
Recently they renovated the sight outside.
When walked in at first glance it's cute,with a giant pasta sign, but when you sit there to dine in to get drowned in red.
The place was quiet loud for being empty. There was 2 TVs which were playing two different things, you could hear one TV blasting, and there was also a loud music being played.
On to the food.
Based on their photos their garlic knots are huge, but it comes in order of 6 only.
On the slice pizza section, they didn't have veggie pizza.
I got the margarita and the cheese slice.
The tomato sauce on the margarita pizza was too acidic.
The cheese slice was better.
The crust had a nice hold to it, but had zero flavor to it. It was the most flavorless crust I have had in a long time.
They had a cool self service tablet, but unfortunately it's not set up to order slice pizza.😬😵
Customer service was meh.
They had good quality napkins on the table 🖖

The Old Town Junction
My friend and I wandered into town and ended up over here. Honestly, I was surprised that this place barely had 700 reviews. This place looked like it was in a great location, to my surprise the place wasn't overly crowded.
The inside had a great vibe to it, even the mens bathroom wallpaper was very elegante.
Let's talk about the food.
We got the brioche bun burger, and the short ribs breakfast burrito.
The burrito was very delicious, the crispy potatoes on the side were also delicious.
The burger would have been much better if the bun was toasted, and if they had a better cut fries to pair with the burger.
On to the sauce: the ketchup was more like tomato paste 👎, the ranch was water downed mayonnaise 👎. The salsa didn't have any flavor to it.
Staff were friendly and courteous.

The Continental Club
I was walking around town and saw the security standings outside, under a pizza sign, asked them whats going on, turns out its this cool underground joint with amazing bartenders, and different nights play different types of music, but if you like jazz Thursday nights are your night.
Larry was the phenomenal behind the bar, you could see the passion each time he was making a drink, and old fashioned is a must at this place, specially when Larry makes it.
Also if you have sweet tooth, there are delicious complimentary mini cupcakes there for your enjoyment. And they are absolutely delicious.
If you are in town check oit this place, you won't be disappointed.

Venice Sign
Always a great time. Always filled with entertainers and artists. The drum circle is a must see, if you are lucky to catch the bike train with all the lights, stop and enjoy the moment. Once done with here, walk a little further and you are at Santa Monica Pier, walk the opposite direction and you get to the Venice channels, food in the area is not bad.
