Wonderful selection of very reasonably priced Korean grab-and-go snacks and lunches.

A range of kimbap (김밥) with bulgogi beef, fish cake or vegetarian filling, to name a few. Spicy Korean Fried Chicken, just $8.99 for a huge (and very tasty) serving.
Stellar delivery on flavors Malaysian from a strip mall kitchen in Pleasanton. Check out the regularly updated menu, ensuring there’s a new taste to try always.

Penang Hokkien Prawn Mee came as two types of noodles in a satisfyingly fragrant coconut broth — tasting of the essence of shrimp and topped with shredded chicken.

Penang Mamak Fried Chicken, both dry and wet spiced before deep frying for a crispy, spicy skin. The saltiness could have been higher, however.
For Viking enthusiasts (eager to learn more beyond Netflix dramas), this museum displays rare find treasures and portrays in-depth accounts of Viking life — covering topics including spirituality, trade, settlement patterns, and economic production.

Silver and gold hoards reflecting the extensive connections Vikings had with the British Isles, Ireland, Russia, Islamic Spain and Byzantium underscore how truly global the Vikings were. A rare-find Buddha figurine from Afghanistan/Pakistan, a surprise. Viking swords, carvings, boat hardware and jewelry also abound.

Budget around 1.5 hours to see the full exhibit and read some of the in-depth explanations.
The food reaches the standard of well-prepared Thai. Use of quality ingredients is apparent in clean taste. The price point, however, seems to cover more for the cleverly designed West Elm-meets-Bangkok interior rather than an above-and-beyond menu.

Thai Boat Noodle Soup, as expected — nothing above or below ordinary. Crispy Roll, not so different from regular vegetarian egg rolls. All together, $30 before tax and tip.

A nice option for a slightly elevated Thai experience that doesn’t necessarily break the bank; but a bit pricey still.
Beautiful mountain with a sacred history in both Kikuyu and Maasai folklore. Varied landscape (high jungle, grassland, rocky lunar) and wildlife. Ask where the elephants are on their circular migration around the base.

Camping permitted anywhere within. Assistance of a guide (even for day hike), highly suggested.

A real treat in Africa.
