It cost $8 dollars to park but that's quite normal for many Parks Vic locations - they need to get the money from somewhere to maintain the facilities. Plenty of parking available. We ate in the cafe - the food took a while to arrive but it was typical fast food quality and edible. French fries were great and Mango smoothies were one of the best I have had. Not too much to do in the gardens but the view is great. Could do worth more sun protection outside i.e. more large umbrellas. Staff were friendly.

I have finally got round to posting my review of La Sablonnerie as I visited the restaurant over 12 months ago. Notwithstanding my tardiness, I think its worthwhile to post my opinions. The experience was fantastic, we were blessed with lovely weather, fantastic meals and a wonderful selection of wines. The garden is an absolute delight. I have told so many people about this place. The staff (and owner Elizabeth) were professional and helpful. Thank you for a great experience.
