A short, easy walk in the woods in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It might take 10 minutes to walk it. It is peaceful. Good for walking a dog or for very young children. Nice if you are already close by. Not worth driving far for.

Statue erected in 1933. Samuel Gompers founded the organization now known as the AFL-CiO. Gompers was a Jewish Dutch-American.

Oldest African American church in the same location in the District of Columbia. 1836 founded. 1915 building torn down and replaced but still the same church.
