Fantastic burger restaurant. It’s actually located in the building across from the Metro station but shows differently on Google maps. Bacon cheeseburgers and fresh cut French fries are absolutely divine. Five Guys puts all other burger joints to shame. Well priced and great value for your buck! Super fresh, made for you food that is delicious and served piping hot. Love the convenience when staying at the Marriott Courtyard Laval right around the corner.

Wow! What a spectacular commercial center! The architecture and village design is outstanding. This village includes shopping boutiques, numerous restaurants, art galleries, business and banking services. There’s even a bitcoin ATM. Many of the diverse restaurants have lovely outdoor terraces and there’s even a pretty little park in the village square.

Picturesque hiking trail but there is an admission per vehicle of almost $30 but it’s worth it for a lengthy hike with beautiful red rock canyon scenery.

Absolutely love this hiking trail. It is about 10 km for the in and back loop and it’s mostly hard packed surfaces with walking foot bridges and railing supports. Some elevated sections offer challenging climbs but also awesome views of the south shore of the Thames River. The hiking trail meanders along the shoreline between the Riverbend Golf course and the Hunt Club golf course. So pretty nice views indeed. It’s mostly shaded by old growth Carolinian forest. Deer sightings and plenty of birdsongs for the nature enthusiasts.

This is a lovely little spot for a picnic lunch and a refreshing break in nature. There is a pretty water fountain and created water fall feature where swans, geese and other water birds meander about to entertain viewers. The park is well groomed with floral gardens and sculptures. There is green space on both sides of the Gananoque River and a lovely bridge which provides plenty of photo opportunities. There are several benches and picnic tables throughout some offering much needed shade during the current heat wave.
