We arrived on a week day around 1430 (2:30 pm) and we received ticket number 520 (they were currently calling numbers close to 300) for our spot in line to take pictures. Many people had already left and they skipped their numbers, but it is a slow process to get through each group of people taking their pictures. By the time our number was called to take our pictures it was closer to 1800 (6:00 pm). The guy taking the pictures did a great job using a mirror and making it look like water and they do that for a donation. As an additional note, it is required that everyone wears a sarong and that the shoulders be covered well in the temple. I say this because you may want to coordinate your outfit for your pictures accordingly. They do provide sarongs and shoulder coverings if required.

Bottom line up front is that, it's a very long wait, but it's necessary if you want to take your pictures in the gates.
Great place to visit for touristy trinkets. Also a lot of good food here as well. The pikes place market area is fairly well kept and clean. However, some of the surrounding areas tend to have a lot of homeless folks who were high or getting high even in the broad daylight on the streets.
Great plaza area around the statue of a great American patriot.
Fun place around Christmas time.
Definitely not the biggest aquarium I've ever been to but absolutely a great value for the price. They have many awesome exhibits and the way they present the individual smaller tanks with fish is quite nice. I very much enjoyed the multiple tunnels to walk through where you could see fish above and around you. They also had a seal / sea lion show that we only caught the end of but seemed like a fun show.
