Guildford Castle
What a lovely quaint place. It’s fascinating that it used to be the most luxurious castle in England and the king lived there. Beautiful views. People were here catching up and enjoying the peace and quiet. Very well kept. It is slowly eroding but they try to maintain it as well as possible. Plenty of places to grab a bite or a drink nearby. If you’re close, stop by and enjoy the views from a top and take a seat and relax.
You have to purchase a ticket to get to the top of the tower. You can buy tickets on the main level of the castle top. But it is free to walk around everywhere else. Please visit and enjoy the views!

Primark
Affordable off brand clothing store that covers everything you need at very good prices. Workers were efficient and kept the place tidy. Lines were long to check out but they surprisingly moved fast. They have a fitting room to try clothing out if you need. Store is very well marked and makes it easy to move about the store.
If you’re from the USA, think of it as a combination of Ross, TJ Maxx, and Kohls. I’d definitely come back if I need decent affordable things for a 1-4 time use. Enjoy!

The Keeper of the Plains
Beautiful. Relaxing. Iconic. This is a MUST visit when coming to Wichita. Ride your bike here. Walk around. Take in the history by the status. Come at 9pm to watch the fire display. It’s a great place for the family and friends to come hang out. Pack a lunch or come after ice cream. Great place to hang out and get your picture taken with the Keeper in the background, along with the city views. The exploration place is across the street. It’s within walking distance of River Front Stadium (baseball stadium). Delano district nearby. Parking on either side of the bridges! (Exploration place parking has a lot of room) Enjoy!
Spangles
Good location on maize rd and 21st street. Place is clean and staff was very friendly. Food is made fresh and came out fast. Love that you can get your own refills. Large size is like 40-44 ounces. Big size. Love the old school inside. You can season your fries. Overall it’s a great local place.
