Visited recently for daughter's birthday. Atmosphere was awesome a quiet place with a scenic view especially at sundown by the Hudson. Good wine selection and a good variety of food types made the experience among family with different tastes able to enjoy the diverse menu. Definitely going back.

Visited with my granddaughter. The playground definitely was a good positive challenge for her from your traditional NYC Parks Dept set ups. I like the seating along the perimeter which allows parents to keep an eye on their children. Glad the sprinklers by the sand pit were on that helped with both cooling the kids off and removing the bulk of the sand before getting into the car at end of day. There seemed to be difficulty getting the taller sprinklers on so older children were stuck using other sprinklers which always becomes a problem with time. Otherwise clean, restrooms open, no homeless inside park area and well maintained.

Visited after the PR Day Parade and great treat to encounter park legend of art there. Good space for use if having events. I did see many discarded drug paraphernalia that should be addressed since children are in the park. NYC needs to support Parks Dept to support a clean up safely.
