Stopped in for a to go order and absolutely enjoyed the food and staff. I was able to place my order and run to the store, and by the time I got back, my food was pipping hot and ready for me! One of the chefs came out and checked on me and offered me a garlic Naan as it was my first time in. He was so nice and so happy that I was there. He really made my day!

Everything was delicious! I got the Masada spicy, and it did not disappoint! My sinuses were very open and clear after just a few bites, and I loved every bite. I like that their sauce was on the medium thick side and had tons of chunks of chicken. They give you a good amount of food for their prices. I can't wait to come back and get some more!

Was not expecting this "hidden" gem in a bar that was clearly closed to the public. I was greeted by a waiter who led me back to a bar behind a bookshelf. I was greeted more by the dim lights than by the bartender. But, once I was, I enjoyed my bent umbrella, which was way more citrusy than I thought it would be in a good way, and it was super smooth to sip and enjoy. I finished this while speaking to the bartender and a patron who was very kind. The bartender was very open and kind. He made me feel very comfortable and was so kind!

My second drink was the "Apples and Allies," which reminded me of a spicier apple cider with rum. It was super smooth, warm, and easy to sip and sip!

I would come back here for the drinks and atmosphere. Very chill and great drinks!

After receiving a couple of recommendations to try Oak City, I gave it a try last night. I was so excited and so was my friend who came with me. Upon walking in the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. A wrap around bar with a few tables around. It felt more like a pub versus a full service restaurant.

Because we were digging vegetables, we decided to get salads and a meat ball. We both went with the traditional as it was our first try. What we were expecting was not what we received. First, the meat ball was way smaller than we thought. Next, it lacked seasoning, flavoring, and something special. It was very dry and just did not impress. Last, the meat ball had no sauce. It was literally a dry and oddly shaped meatball on top of the salad. Now the salad was good. It was much larger than I thought, especially for a side salad. I had to ask for a plate underneath it as the toppings kept falling off the side. It could've had a little more dressing, as it was a little dry, which I asked for and did not realize was a $1 more for.

I am giving Oak City three stars for the amazing service by Chris and the good salad. I would not recommend their meatballs, which is sad because it is in their name! There is definitely room for improvement on their balls.

Some of the best Turkish/Mediterranean food I've ever had is at Bosphorus. After almost a year of passing you by, I decided to stop by. I was warmly welcomed by all of the staff members. It was lunchtime and busy, but I did not mind waiting and was given a table that was meant for four. I offered to move, but the waiter would not hear anything of it. I was able to chill, read, and enjoy my food without any problems.

Now the food. I started with their hummus that came with this thick, crusted bread that was great for dipping. Also, a plate of oil and peppers was complimentary. The hummus had tons of flavor without being spicy or salty--just so darn good. My falafel plate was the same--full of flavor without being overpowering. It came with five pieces of falafel, salad, yogurt dip, and rice. The rice was super soft and fluffy, and the yogurt dip, wow, again, so good and authentic! I enjoyed every bite until my pants told me I could eat no more, but something tells me their food will make amazing leftovers.

I love the vibe of this place with the owners and staff being so friendly and welcoming. Everyone smiled at me, and I appreciated their great customer service and care. I can't wait to come back.

Came here today for the Yelp Family Launch party and I really loved the space. As you walk into Event 1013 there is a huge open front room framed with original brick. The back area is smaller and has brick as well and between these two spaces are gorgeous mens and womens bathrooms. Literally I want these bathrooms in my house! Raided sinks, a sitting bench, glittery counter tops, candles, palms, and huge stalls. I know it is weird to say to check out the bathroom, but check out the bathroom! You will not want to leave--really!

The event itself was great! Tons of things for the kiddos to do as well as for the bigger kiddos. I love that the space allowed for several food and drink booths in the front, face painting, cupcake making, and balloon animal making in the back. I think the only thing missing from the event was a dance party or something to welcome and round up the kiddos so they could've gotten to know each other.

I think that this would be a wonderful spot for weddings, birthday parties, and graduations. I love that this spot is in downtown/historic Plano that is reviving itself and trying to grow. I hope that it brings more people to the area.
