Today, we had a worker lunch at our office and ordered food from Omar Khayam on Coney Island Ave. I specifically requested a grilled bronzino, even though it wasn't on the menu, and they said they could accommodate it. However, when I opened the box, I discovered that it was actually a fried fish. I tried calling the restaurant immediately but couldn't get through for about 15 minutes. Finally, when I did reach them, they initially blamed me for placing the order incorrectly. It wasn't until someone intervened and asked about the problem that they admitted to the mixed-up order and promised to send a grilled fish.
I was disappointed because these workplace gatherings are rare, and I couldn't enjoy the meal with my colleagues. I ended up with just grilled tomatoes, which had a meat flavor due to being cooked with meat on the same grill. It was pretty disgusting. I called to complain at 12:20, and the replacement order didn't arrive until around two o'clock. To top it off, they asked me to return the fried fish, even though no one had touched it. This was definitely a new experience for me.
Unfortunately, I never received an apology from the restaurant. The waitress had a bad attitude, and the overall service was subpar. As a result, I won't be ordering from them again, and our company won't either. Their customer service was terrible, and I can't help but wonder who will end up eating that fish which sat in our office for nearly two hours.

Let me tell you, the devil eggs at Lure Fishbar are seriously out of this world! And that's not all, the tuna tataki dish is a real winner too. My taste buds were on cloud nine! The service, especially Samantha, was top-notch. The atmosphere is simply breathtaking, like stepping onto a luxurious ship. You've got to give this place a shot, trust me! And oh, make sure you leave some room for dessert because their cheesecake is absolutely legendary.
