We just moved in the area and are looking for new trails to take the doggo for a run. Found this one on google maps, tried to go here last week but couldn’t figure out where to actually park and get there.😂 Was looking at the trail map online and found out we had to go first to Eisenhower park then walk like 5mins to the trail (follow the train tracks towards the steel bridge and cross the small bridge on the left). The start of the trail is to the left of the Augusta water works building. It’s a beautiful trail with lots of shade. 13 mins from the entrance of the trail is a clearing where you can just sit in front of the river and enjoy nature. 🥰
P.s. check your dog for fleas after walking the trail!
Small little doggie swim area. Dogs playing and swimming off leash. Our mal hasn't paddled out in over a year since moving from California—and we could hardly keep her out of the water today!

We were there on a Wednesday (mid-day) and it got a little crowded due also to some people with no dogs hanging out in that little area. So if you want to avoid the crowd maybe try going as early as you can.
