A solid menu with good offerings ar this strip center restaurant. If I recall, it's been here for ages so it must be popular in the neighborhood. While it had an abundance of natural light, the decor seemed sparse, so not all that inviting.
Cute, cozy and comfortable Euro style cafe with a robust menu. I had the mushroom tart and salad -- superb. The pastry cabinet, which I managed to pass up, looked incredible. Images of the cake haunt me still and now I live in regret.

Home-town favorite Italian off the Hill. Entree, bread and salad for a good price, and lunch specials are even more of a value! Standard Italian menu, well prepared, and good service.

I didn't eat here, only drank, so no opinion of the food. It was really easy going with bikers and "regular" folk at the wooden picnic tables side-by-side. The bartenders all were quick to fill your drink order and handy with a smile. The day I was there they had a pretty good band. And don't expect the Ritz Carlton -- it's a biker bar: cinder block walls lined with antlers, taxidermied animal heads, beer signs, and for some reason a scythe and a boat wheel on the ceiling (possibly appealing to both the pirate and farmer crowd). There were a couple boss bikes indoor, and the building doors were open wide and fans blowing -- no AC -- and a trike out back. PS no indoor plumbing... two port-a-potties out back. In today's 98 degree heat I told a woman I would give her 20 bucks to go to the bathroom there, and she passed. So ladies, you've been alerted!
Cute little candy and ice cream store (that oddly also serves coffee and sells pocket knives). They sell Edy's brand ice cream in perhaps 10 flavors. It's very homey, the employees are friendly and efficient, and there is an awesome walk-around porch around the whole building. Thumbs up!
