A well-preserved castle and it's grounds. It is a place to visit if you are into marvelling at old architecture, walking around on cobble-stone paths, gazing into Oslo fjord through castle walls, visiting museums, or simply having a picnic with your family. The castle and grounds are open to the public, whereas there is an entry fee for the museums.
My only regret is that I couldn't visit this place on a sunny day! Such a picture perfect place it is! A wonderful park to spend a day with your loved ones. There are many open spaces to have picnics, shades of trees to stroll around, numerous statues and fountains to look at, children's playground, etc., making the park a complete package. Would not miss another chance to visit this place.
