Found all the pelicans!!! What an amazing spot... so beautiful to see the crashing waves and hear the roar of the magnificent Pacific ocean... exciting to watch what the waves can do... in the moss, take a peek and watch the lil crabs 🦀 spot the sea urchins hanging out, getting sun while they wait for the ocean to come back and claim them... the coastal trail is the only area where the doggos are allowed to explore with you...

I can't believe I had no idea this was here... almost drove past it so we errrrrched and turned in... great place with trails to walk or ride bikes... there is a little area behind the building of the nature center that is covered with picnic tables... the creek runs right by and through it... designated trails for dogs, and they must be leashed... beautiful, so green and lush! Very well kept... few benches around to sit and enjoy moments

Depending on where you are along the way, the hike could be easy or it could be difficult... just research and know where you are... there are a few spots that you can pull off and park, but be careful, some of the turns are tight so pay attention to what is ahead of you. Unfortunately, humans are terrible so it is littered with more trash than you can imagine. Much sadness... It is a great drive for gorgeous scenery...
