This is a magnificent public space with a dog park, green space, food trucks, restaurants with patio dining, and ground floor retail shops, coffee shops, and more. This is truly an amazing space to be!

The church of Saint Stephen is a beautiful church on the main square of Hvar town. If you spend any time in Hvar town, you’ll see it. The bell tower and exterior/facade are iconic. It costs only 10 Kuna per person to enter, but you can’t take pictures inside the church. However, the inside has alters, niches, and chapels with lovely green, red, and black marble. Overall, worth the 10 Kuna and 20 minutes that it takes to have a look inside.

This is a lovely church from the exterior - if this view pleases you, then it’s worth walking to and seeing in person. However, if you want to look inside, to see some relics, the cloister, and the painting of the last supper, then pay the 35 Kuna/person to enter. They also have a cool coin collection and a good explanation of the amphora and trade routes in the ancient world. It’s a neat church with some interesting things and the second best church in Hvar town (the best value being Saint Stephen At 10 Kuna/person).

The Nikola Tesla monument in Zagreb is very well done 👍🏻 and sculpted by Tesla’s friend Ivan Mestrovic. This is a good landmark, because behind this sculpture are beautiful winding streets and lively squares leading up to Upper Town.

One of the best places to play soccer in Michigan because the field is right next to the water/Detroit River. The main field is a nice grass field and there are goals set up in the summer. It has been the site of the Detroit City Football League’s final tournament aka COPA a few different years. The COPA event hosts about 30+ neighborhood teams for a celebration of soccer - good times! There is parking adjacent to the field and it’s nearby to the tennis courts, baseball/softball diamonds, walking paths, picnic areas, conservatory, and aquarium.
