I saw some large fish near the confluence of German Mill Creek & the Don River. I was surprised how big they were. It looked like several 6-8 lb salmon! Great multi use trails right in the city adjacent to natural wild habitat.

Could be worse. I was pleasantly surprised given the tourist traffic. When you gotta go, you gotta go!

The food & service were great. Our group of three shared four dishes & they were all tasty & nicely presented, especially the mango salad. The location is very convenient for anyone visiting the downtown area within easy walking distance of the free parking at the Cooper parking lot.

Salish Trail runs between SW Marine & Camosun, & Acadia Beach on NW Marine Drive. A long trail catering to walking & biking. Horse riding on the trail is generally limited to the section south of 16th Ave.

The infamous wind lip in the Blackcomb Glacier area. Top of the Showcase T-Bar & short hike up to the glacier revealing the wind lip. Traverse along the wind lip to pick your entry point down the glacier or hike further up above the lip to grab some air time as you huck it off the lip!
