Ok, so how many times have I driven past the park saying, "I really should go there". I finally did and I'm glad I did. Very nice park, I love the observation tower. Loads of birds were out(I guess they have known something that I didn't until today). Beautiful view of the lake. I'll be going back soon for more bird watching and photos

I wasn't sure if I would have trouble with the height and I almost didn't go but I am so glad I did. What a beautiful walk. Nice and wide, like the width of a street, so no height issues. Beautiful views of the Hudson River and the surrounding areas. I went from the Poughkeepsie side as a starting point and was very happy to see the visitor area on the Highland side. Lots of people strolling, walking, jogging and enjoying an unusually warm late October day.

Very nice gardens and a well maintained home on the estate with 2 ongoing exhibits. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Some of the gardens are accessible and it's very family oriented. Very enjoyable

A hidden gem in the midst of a quiet neighborhood. Nicely marked for a stroll to the water and back into the woods. Would be nice for children, there's an area with a small bridge and beds of wild flowers. Fun for photography. Be mindful that it is located in a residential area. Figure about an hour for a peaceful stroll

Very enjoyable, local art museum featuring local artists. Very nicely presented exhibits with a helpful staff. The grounds looked nice but since it was raining, I moved through quickly. The area is nice with the playhouse and a restaurant all on one "compound". Figure 1.5 to 2 hours depending on how thoroughly you read through the exhibits.
