Wednesday 1/17/24 Dinner at Delicious Chengdu in Temple City with my friend Jimmy, cousin, and friends. Enjoying seafoods, wine, beers, and whiskey. Delicious seafoods cooked many different ways. Good times in the making!

Shancheng Lameizi
Saturday 2/15/23 Dinner at Shancheng Lameizi Restaurant in Rowland Heights with my cousin. Spicy hot pot with various meats and vegetables. They got a great side sauces and deserts-appetizers bar (Unlimited enjoyment). The foods tasted awesome and fresh.
The service staffs worked fast.
The restaurant is sectioned into a few smaller rooms with tables and chairs.

Monday 12/4/23 Dinner at Earthern Restaurant in Hacienda Heights with my cousin. Good Chinese foods. One the the best jelly fish dish I’ve ever had; crunchy, sweet, salty, and flavorful paired with cucumbers. The shredded pork with bamboo shoots were savory with the crunch of the bamboo shoots paired it with perfectly.
The restaurant has a nice and clean decor.

Five Guys
Hands down for the burgers which is very goods and tasty.
Everything else is offer separately and the prices is very high for a burger joints. There is no combo meal offer. With selecting a burger, fries, and a regular drinks it could cost about $20 easy. For this amount I can go eat at a low budget buffet restaurant and enjoy a variety of foods. To be fair, this place does offer unlimited peanuts. My assessment of the peanuts are: it’s over roasted which is very dry and way too salty. Maybe it’s management’s way to limit how much their customers would eat the free peanuts.
The cashiers/servers do not have customers service skills. Very monotone, no eye contact, and no addressing customers respectfully. They need training for this skills set.
I would come back for the burger only and go elsewhere for the fries, drinks or shake.
It’s a matter of time for this restaurant chain to go under if nothing is done about their high prices and lack of employees training.

Akasaka Restaurant
This is a high quality Japanese restaurant with a moderate pricing. The foods are fresh and tasty. The service staffs are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is old and may need a renovation to increase more seating. I highly recommend this restaurant and are still going back to satisfy my sushi cravings.
