A monument to commemorate the historical event in Vietnam. The monument is built at the lakeside where it is believed as the location where the event was happened. You need to really pay attention upon passing through or else you would not recognize it. The event was explained in Vietnamese only.

Ly Thai To Monument Hall is an open plaza with beautiful garden surrounding the statue of King Ly Thai To. The statue is built facing the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, the famous lake located at the Old Quarter of Hanoi City. Ly Thai To was one the king in Vietnam history. He was the one who moved the capital from Ninh Binh to Ha Noi. This monument hall is best visited during day time. Some visitors came her to pay respect as well by burning incense or putting flowers. To reach this location, walking is the best way from any side of Hoan Kim Lake or else you may hop on e-hailing Grab service. No entrance ticket is needed.

Bac Son Monument is a war memorial monument to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for freedom and independence of the country. It can be viewed from Bac Son Street, opposite the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, next to Thang Long Royal Citadel and Ba Dinh Square. No entrance is allowed to the war monument. Visitors may only view from the gate or take picture there.

Noi Bai International Airport is the airport serving domestic and international flights to and from Hanoi, Vietnam. It has two terminals: T1 serves domestic flights. and T2 serves international flights. I visited both international and domestic terminals. Airport is quite spacious and comfortable. The view from international departure was amazing with rows of mountains. Toilets were clean. Trolleys are numerous for passengers usage.

Check in rows and baggage collection bays are numerous. Queue are expected at the check in at several airlines. Immigration queue is expected but not so long for departure. Departing passengers are expecting high security level which every passenger needs to take off shoes for clearance.

They were few food and beverages outlets available. But, they should be more international fast food outlets at the international terminal. Sim card and money changer outlets are also available here. Taxi and bus services are available for arriving passengers. For international passengers, as there are few issues on scam drivers, I booked airport transfer service from online travel portal and the service was good and safe.

There is also sleeping pods (transit hotel) for transit passengers at international terminal level 2. Transit passengers may get rest here. The minus part is that there is no bathroom at the transit hotel. Location is at the corner so it is comfortable for short rest.

Local is one of the coffee house located in the central area of Malang city. The location is inside the shophouse complex, little bit quite hard to find if you drive. You may ask the locals for the exact location which is inside the small road. Parking is at the shophouse complex.

Local offers a good taste of the home brewed coffee. Their Java Palm Sugar Coffee is recommended. You may ask for less sweet option if you don't like the sweet coffee. They also have some snacks like french fries and sandwich. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Payment can be made by cash and electronic modes. Local crews also offer warm and hospitable service.
