Reef Al Balad

I came here for dinner on Saturday. The restaurant was nearly empty.

The foods generally were not bad.
Lentil soup was good.
The Reef Al Balad Grills had big portion. Meats were tender and juicy.

Service was good as the foods were served quite fast.

The restaurant had nice environment as they use a lot of fake flowers for decoration.
A coffee shop that has been operating for years and it is always busy, as it is not only patronised by locals but also tourists.
The indoor seating was a bit warm and stuffy.

The wanton mee was delicious. Pork noodle (RM15) also not bad.
The restaurant , in fact the entire Jalan Alor felt like more for tourist attraction than local eateries.
Crews treat all customers as tourists. Because of that prices no longer reasonable for locals.

Foods in this restaurant were just ok. I tried the grilled fish, vege and Hokkien Mee.

I did not like the atmosphere. Not only it was hot and crowded. There were also many foreign sellers that kept stop by the table promoting their merchants. It is better to avoid sitting at tables beside the walkway.
