I’ve been coming here for several years and it’s certainly a Thai staple place in Queens. The owner is a nice older lady and she’s known to hook me up once in a while. But lately, I’m noticing a drop in food quality and cleanliness. For example, the lettuce in the papaya salads are occasionally sandy and taste of dirt. Some vegetables are weird tasting and there is a noticeable reduction in the amount of meats and fish in the dishes. Green curry soup is very good and spicy, but I don’t think it’s worth the $12 they charge for it.
I love that they’re open every day and have most of my favorite Thai food snack staples. The best deal is the $1 sticky rice (khao niao) packets and the reasonably priced Thai instant noodle servings. ขอบคุณครับ

Decent for a NYC public toilet, but the men’s room had only a stall, no urinals.
This is absolutely the worst market, irrespective of ethnic food availability, that there is in Queens. From the horrible customer service to the lack of any English ability whatsoever, this market is nasty, disgusting, and a far cry from normal standards of hygiene. I highly recommend that the new York city Department of Health shut this place down permanently— an empty parking lot would be more useful.
