Artwalk happens every Thursday, 5pm onwards. Its better to go when all the artists are setup with their artworks, sometime between 6-7pm. However, especially during the high season, there are too many people, so you end up waiting in line for anything you want to buy / eat, unless you are a real planner and made reservations in advance. Without the artists' works, I would rather walk around the town on a non-Thursday, so its more relaxing, and less traffic to get there.

I was craving some Chinese food, so we just went to a nearby restaurant, but it was mediocre. Relatively cheaper than other foods, and you get what you pay for.

I would not recommend this place for tourists who have limited time to eat good food in NYC.

Some good Korean-inspired pastry, and some not so good. The sesame seed rice donut was the best out of the pastries that I purchased, but the red bean rice donut was soggy & oily, premium castella was not as good as the one that you find in Tour Le Jour in Korea & latte was very bland, which was also more expensive than the typical latte at a smaller cafes.

However, the staff was friendly, and the atmostphere inside was spacious and pleasant.

Busy, Japanese udon restaurant, ideal for smaller group, 4 or under, just like any other typical Japanese restaurants. It is somewhat small, but not too tight of a place.

The servers were very friendly, and our male server was exceptional at recommending dishes based on what I was feeling like. Hw thoroughly explained the menus that he recommended, from appetizer to main.

The udons that we had were really good (ebi tempura, duck breast, niku & tantan), which were all soup based, perfect for a chilly & rainy day.

p.s. The phone signal is pretty weak in the restaurant, so the QR code for the menu may not work. Ask for a hard copy of the menu in that case.
Great contemporary art museum in the heart of Manhattan. Consisting of 6 floors, it would take more than an entire day to go around and see everything. Days and days worth of art pieces of Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, etc. for art enthusiasts, but 2 hours was good enough for a less artsy person like myself😅

Must-see place for a first-time tourist & returning tourists for the special exhibitions that switch every now and then.
