Think of ultimate luxury fine dining and some modern Italian food , not the cheesy Tummy bloat inducing kinds, but flavorful and innovative kind, that’s what ALBA is all about.
The setting is off course classic JW Marriott but what’s most interesting is the kitchen in the centre which is like an atrium where your food gets prepared and plated the talented Italian chef Matteo.
The food is off course phenomenal and the service one of the best you’ll get.
Needless to say that this restaurant comes highly recommended. Be it for a date to impress or to catch up with friends or family. This Is the perfect setting.

Mostly crowded but this station has been a blessing for most Dilliwaalahs to reach the heart of Chandni Chowk so conveniently using a metro. In fact for many of us, visiting Chandni Chowk was possible due to this station. It also made navigation in this market possible.
The station is maintained ok, despite the crowds. The footfalls at this station must be really high I’m sure.

This used to be my regular haunt throughout my many many years in Delhi. Hanging out with friends, shopping for authentic handicraft products, picking up garments, home decor etc was a regular thing.
Just last week I made a nostalgic trip with some friends who are Delhi based. The haat is now more crowded in terms of retail space etc. But it’s still as lively as it used to be,
The momos and fruit beer 🍺 from Nagaland food stall, the Chai jalebi and kachori from Rajasthan , everything tasted the same.
If you want to check out Indian handicrafts (from all over) then definitely check this place out.

When it comes to most zoos in India, this one is clearly one of the best ones. They are a private zoo and have successfully bred many animals here including the giraffes, hippos, tigers, zebras, and many more.
The zoo is quite big and with little kids it’s best to hire the buggy. The tickets for the buggy can be booked online so you can save waiting time. On public holidays and weekends this place gets crowded so plan your visit accordingly.
If you have little kids carry water and food too s as the options are very limited. I saw only one place with food options.

It’s a one stop market for many many things. Huge place so best is to check which area would be the best to visit. Most items here are Chinese make so I wonder how reliable. For clothes, accessories etc I found this market incredibly cheap. There are fabrics , furnishings, home decor at incredibly attractive and reasonable rates as well.
