There are no driers, at least one of the doors is broken, there might not be paper in your stall, and the floor in the men’s room is all wet (and I don’t believe that’s water…).

Still, it’s a public restroom, and there’s running water and soap.

- No swings
- 5 slides
- Sprinklers
- Several climbing equipment
- Lots of sand (including a sand pit)
- Lots of benches, most of them will have shade

Because it’s a large playground with several different devices, kids can have a lot of fun for longer periods of time.

There are no garbage bins (but there are outside not that far away) and no restrooms.

- Large sprinklers to get the kids all wet
- Several climbing equipments with some small slides
- A large grass area for kids to play with balls
- Several benches for the grownups
- Some large tables on each side of the park (with benches as well)
- Entrances both on 59th and 60th
- There are no swings nor bigger slides

Do note that the place has barely no shadow during the afternoon (save for when the highway is blocking the Sun).

One of the nicest playgrounds around: lots of space in a well walled area, several big pieces of equipment for children, trees, a few benches, and even sprinklers on the wall.

Things to know:
- The playground and park are managed by West End Towers (75 West End Avenue, right across the street); they do a great job at maintaining it and they turn the wall sprinklers on on hot days (if it’s really hot, make sure your kid can get wet)
- During the morning, several groups from nearby schools come by for some 30 minutes each; it’s great if you want your kids to interact with others
- Every Tuesday at 10:30ish there is a music class
- There are no public restrooms around
