So they are pretty infamous for their round croissants with cream filling. Is it worth hours in line (probably not) also I don’t like waiting in line for that long. With that said, we did go at the 8am opening on a Tuesday and manage to score the croissants with just 3 people ahead of us. I sure am glad I got to try it. It is flaky, soft buttery and the pistachio cream is divine. Yes, I would buy these again if I’m in NYC and I don’t have to wait hours in line. The chocolate one is more dark chocolate cream than milk chocolate but it was still delicious. We also did ate breakfast and everything was refine. A bit pricey but for the ambiance, service and quality of the food, it is great value. We had a bit of a mishap with our order but our server Hector G smoothed it out and gave us such a great service. Is it a must…oh yeah.

This place is a hidden gem. Warning though that the place only takes cash. I mostly come here with my friends since the dishes are so shareable. The original Roti is the king of all roti. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with the side of curry for dipping (perfect combo) the curry has a kick so precaution for people that can’t take spice. The imitation duck skin is so good and savory that I forgot it wasn’t really duck skin. All the dishes was superb and huge, such great value.
I’m a bit biased but this is my favorite teriyaki chicken hibachi of all time. The portions, price and sauce are a perfect combo. It’s actually a steal for the price and I don’t doubt you can share the food. You also get a choice of white rice or fried rice with the order (no additional charge for fried rice). It also comes with veggies and of course the delectable white sauce. It’s the first place I go to whenever I’m in town
