Szu-Min Yu

Delicious udon. Their noodle is super chewy and has great texture. The udon soup and shrimp tempura taste great. All of them combined together give a wonderful umami flavor. We also ordered their chilly cucumber and veggie gyoza. I highly recommended. Make sure you make reservations beforehand or you will need to wait in line.

Literally about to step into the washroom after waiting in line for 30 mins, they dared to just come over and close the bathroom. What a joke

They have really yummy and healthy options of breakfast and satisfying 2 for $12 mimosas. I love my sweet potato home fries. The vibe here is pretty chill and laid back. Will come back again!

I had a lunch with my Japanese friend today at Menkoi Sato. He recommended this place. We ordered fried chicken and ramens. Chicken was very hot and super juicy. It’s much bigger than other Japanese karaage I had before so it is definitely fulfilling. I love their chewy noodles and the Shoyu soup was thick and very yum. It’s a little salty but it’s soy-sauce based so that is totally expected. The ramen was very hot and kept me warm under the cold weather in February. The Chasu pork was very tender and it melted in my mouth. My friend ordered spicy miso ramen and he loved it. I highly recommend this place.

Update —
Just went there again for lunch. I had Miso ramen which was super yummy, and my colleague got spicy miso. It was mild spicy and really delicious. Overall, this is the best ramen place in the city for sure!

Lovely cute place. Very chill. My girlfriend and I always come here for brunch. I love their Eggs Benedict. Steak and eggs are great too.
