Mikado Downtown
2023 Nov 12
Mikado is a Japanese restaurant downtown in Edmonton. Mikado has a few spots now around Edmonton. This one is very clean and well lit. It's a bit older now but still has great and fresh offerings. Service is great and very helpful. And the food is always fresh and of high quality. The space is well lit and still has a very modern feel to it.
Mikado is still some of the freshest sushi in the city!

Biscoff Coffee Corner
2023 Aug 21
The Biscoff Coffee Corner is home to the famous biscuits that we've all come to know and love. This is not usually our destination on the pier...we usually come here after dinner for our sugar fix and java.
The service was ok. They were helpful and kind.
The beverages were great...sweet and with a caffeine fix. The coffee is not a high end roast but good quality that it's not your basic chain.
And the branding of this outlet is beautifully adorned in red.

Las Vegas Community Healing Garden
2023 Mar 27
The Las Vegas Community Healing Garden in downtown Las Vegas came together in three days to honor those that were felled on October 1, 2017, by the sniper at the Route 91 Harvest music festival. The garden has a stunning Remembrance Wall together with 58 trees...each one honoring a life lost.
If you see the garden at first you may be unimpressed by its simplicity. But knowing it's history, it is a powerful sight that you need to experience.

Credo Coffee
2023 Mar 16
Credo used to be on the front end of new age coffee services in Edmonton. In only a few years though, it is feeling a bit dated. It's still a very hip java stop with a modern flair. It's also on the busy 104 Street strip in Edmonton that's going through a major renaissance.
The service is great and the coffee is lovely. The food is ok...nothing spectacular. Everything is good...it's just missing that something special that gives it a little more character or unique vibe.
Otherwise, four stars.
