If your in Edinburgh its a must go to place with the history of, sit the pub where many ppl had there last drop of beer before being walked up to the castle to be hung. Its got history and theres some old relics on the wall.
It serves food and it was nice. Can get busy so try get in there to secure a table

Good park for walking, dogs and running. Has a play area for kids with swings, climbing frame, sea-saw and usual stuff.
It also has a mini skate park bowl, which is good for bmx, skateboards, scooters. Also has a football goals there for a kick about

Went here for a wedding, was a lovely venue in a beautiful location. The grounds and the building are stunning. Had a great time. Never been before but will definitely being going back for other events and afternoon teas. Lots of parking with disabled access too

Dog walking, running, walking alone as family or couples. Has goal posts. There is a little stream that runs through the one part to see wild life and maybe go stickleback fishing.

Nice recreational field, for walking running, dog walking, and leads down to canal
