A huge park that you can probably spend your whole entire day here. Very beautiful trails to walk and explore. Big trees, lush green, and peaceful vibes. Good for kids and actually the whole family to spend a good quality day together. Plenty of parking spots. We went on Saturday. $8 to park and you can also re-enter. Once we were done exploring, we drove to another side of the park which is also huge with plenty of very clean picnic areas, archery class on site, playgrounds, and etc. Come and spend a day here and you will feel reset and recharged.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this park. Everything is perfect! Very quiet and peaceful with lots of greens and shades. There is a waterfall where it beautifully falls into a pond that runs through the park. Just standing there and listening to the sound of the water slowly flowing and the birds chirping in the background....that's the best thing ever on a Sunday morning! We also spotted ducks, geese, and turtles along the trails we walked. The park is pretty big but they have the signs up throughout the park telling you where to go so you won't get lost. There are a lot of picnic settings inside the park and most of them are under the shades. There are some big open area in the back where you can see big palm trees, some blooming roses and some other nice plants and flowers. It also overlooks Port of Los Angeles from far too. We spent more than 2 hours here today and it was our first time. We really enjoyed the park and we do really appreciate that the people and the city have kept the park very clean and maintained its beauty. I will say...this is a hidden gem of San Pedro. I will definitely go back there again before this Summer ends.

Fun & FREE activity at Manhattan Beach Pier. My daughter loved it there. There is a small tide pool right when you walk in where you can see and touch the starfish and anemones. They also have a small area upstairs where you can see some jellyfish, lobsters, abalones, shrimps, and etc.

We had a very good time today at the zoo. Though there were not that many animals, we really enjoyed the atmosphere there. I can just come here every weekend just to walk around, see some animals and enjoy the greens. The highlight of our visit today was getting to feed a giraffe ($5 / person - three romaine lettuce leaves). Besides these beautiful animals, they have a carousel inside the park, face-painting and a very nice playground/picnic area. Also, there are food/snack stalls everywhere throughout the park if you want a quick bite but it is pretty expensive. Packing food and drink from home is recommended.

My daughter and I love to come to It's Bobatime at Tozai Plaza in Gardena. Fast and friendly service. Drinks are always delicious. There are a lot on the menu to choose.
