Nice little ground.
The view in the main stand (pictured) makes you feel like your part of the action.
Bar & food facilities are good (but overpriced) and there is room for onsite parking. (Plenty of off street parking can be found nearby)
There is also terrace covering behind one goal but sadly the stand has subsidence and can only allow Ltd numbers in it.
£12 for this level of football....??
On the whole a decent day out.
The Assembly I believe was once a church & a beautiful stain glass window at the back on the main hall survives.
No problems with getting a good view, & stage has plenty of room for the artist.
Lighting, well the place is a bit too dark, but stage sound & lights are fine.
Once again the drinks prices are outrageous. A can of Cider & pint of soft drink nearly £11.
I will return but I won't be drinking.
A beautiful quiet space in the noisy over populated metropolis that is London.
Make sure you're a member prior to attending.
I fancied a laugh and picked up 'The Curse of Dutch Courage' book by comic Lazza Ogden.
I was shushed about twenty times within the first hour of reading as it was laugh out loud funny. Well worth a read people (Currently £10.99 on Amazon I think)
I also recommend the tea served. Simply divine.
Great visit, its like a trip back in time with its chic decor. So much variety of book to choose from. I will be back & have been.
