Some great stores here but I can't give it 5 stars. The drivers in this parking lot are idiots. When people enter this parking lot their brains turn off and it extends into their ability to stop their vehicle between the white parking lines.
Whetstone Community Pool

We take our kids to this park all the time and the pool during the summer. The park is great except that someone keeps breaking the gate locks. The pool is great with a slide in the baby pool. The main pool has a nice slant getting in for kids, as well as a big slide, some water jets, and dumping buckets. There is plenty of room away from the kid stuff for teens and adults to swim.

What a great nature walk! This is one of our favorites! The tree cover is great on very hot or sunny days, my 3 year old LOVES the little side paths where he gets to pick the direction, and it's never too hard for the kids to do. This is our go-to local nature walk!
Church of the Little Flower

Visited today for the first time, attended Easter morning Mass with some family members. We usually attend a smaller Church quite far away from where Little flower is.
Getting through the neighborhood was a little confusing, thank goodness for GPS. The parking lot was large and accommodated many cars, sometimes in the Bethesda area you are stuck to street parking and fighting over where to put your vehicle. Thankfully this was not the case even on Easter Sunday.
The music chosen was appropriate and it seems like they have some good musicians employed. I sat near the musicians but I feel if I sat anywhere else I might recommend upgrading the sound system. I did have some difficulty understanding the homily which also lens to my possible sound system upgrade recommendation.
I really appreciated the youthfulness of the parish. There were lots of families with small children. Any fussing from my children or the crunching of goldfish crackers was not out of the ordinary for the regular parishioners. Thankfully no one was offended like some churches I've attended.
If this wasn't so far away from me I'd consider joining the parish. We had a wonderful time.

HIDDEN PINBALL ARCADE hidden in MOMs!!
I had no idea when my brother brought me in here. In the back left corner there is a little doorway into a HUGE Pinball Arcade! There are a few arcade games but except for Street Fighter 2 they are in need of repair.
Thankfully they have a coin machine to turn your dollars into quarters and the price on the pinball machines hasn't been hiked up, same as it was in the early 1990s.
I was so happily surprised to find this place! You should go visit!
