Super quiet, quaint, beautiful beach at the northern end of Fort Lauderdale Beach. You will find colorful Adirondack chairs, an area to picnic, about 12 or 14 parking spaces, including handicapped, a bike rack, shower and a great reef for snorkeling and diving! Park is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Locals love this area as it is less crowded. No lifeguards here, so as I have mentioned before, do check the online Fort Lauderdale Beach conditions. Report comes out daily around 8:00 AM and will indicate what flags are flying. Remember, purple flag means marine life, such as stinging jellyfish, may be present. Green flags indicate ideal conditions; yellow flags signify caution is needed due to waves and currents; and red flags indicate rough and possibly dangerous conditions. Use the parking app as it is much easier, and you’ll receive reminders, as I do, as I tend to overstay!!! This is a wonderful section of the beach if you want peace and quiet. It’s also a swimmer’s dream! Enjoy!

This northern end of Fort Lauderdale Beach is my favorite spot for walking, swimming and snorkeling. Located at the end of 27th, a couple of blocks south of Oakland Park Boulevard on A1A, this hidden gem is a favorite of locals. You will find a small parking lot nestled between two impressive beach homes, newly painted Adirondack chairs facing the water, a shower at the entrance, and a couple of picnic tables. There are no lifeguards here, so it is important to check the daily Ft. Lauderdale Beach report, online, to know the current water conditions and which flags are flying. This is a super peaceful, pleasant and very quiet area. During high season, go early in the morning or late in the afternoon to get a parking space, as there are only about 20, with one handicapped spot, and pay at the meter or even better with the parking app. Lots of windsurfers to watch on windy afternoons. If you like diving and snorkeling, this is an excellent spot. In fact, most mornings you will see dive teams going out. I particularly like the snorkeling here. This is a safe, fun location that makes you feel you are in your own private paradise. Lot opens at 8:00 A.M., and closes at 8:00 P.M. Oh, it is also the perfect place to view the full moon!
Surgery Specialists of Broward

Dr. Brian Weinstein is the best of the best! He performed surgery on me last year, and we follow-up every six months. Dr. Weinstein’s exceptional surgical skills allowed me to heal quickly, with no complications, and with minimal scarring. His professionalism and manner of dealing with patients is superior! His nurse, Giselle, is warm and caring as are the ladies at the front desk. This surgical practice took the fear and danger out of a potentially life-threatening situation and put me back to full health. There are no words to express my gratitude to Dr. Weinstein and his staff! Thank you!
