Good ramen but not sure I'd wait almost an hour again next time. My friend and I put our name in around 1:30pm on a Saturday and were told to expect at least 75 minutes. We ended up getting a table around an hour later. It's nice they have the text system so it gives you a chance to walk around 4th Avenue.

I had the negi-goma ramen and added a soft boiled egg. My friend is gluten free and got the classic ramen with the vegan soup and gluten free noodles. She told me ramen danbo is the only ramen place in the city that she's been able to order gluten free noodles. Surpringly the ramen took a while to be served. Not sure if they had to make the vegan broth or get the GF noodles. My broth was really good and had a good sesame flavour. Noodles were good texture, unfortunately they forgot my egg. But I noticed a server and they brought one out on the side quickly. The egg was cooked perfectly and the yolk was nice and jammy.

I enjoyed it overall and would go again to try the classic ramen.
Heard many good things about this restaurant, especially for the bun cha.

One friend ordered the bun cha, and I shared the lemon grass chicken and rice with another friend. I liked the presentation of the bun cha on a banana leaf servee with vermicelli, a fried spring roll, and some lettuce. The pork patties were tender and the sauce was the perfect balance of fish sauce and vinegar. I tried a piece of the spring roll and it was also really good.

The chicken and rice was also good - the meat was well seasoned and cooked and its nice that they include two pieces of chicken. With an extra bowl of rice is a good sharing size. For $21, I wish a fried spring roll was included.

The service was friendly, fast, and food was flavourful. However, the prices are more expensive compared to some of the neighboring Vietnamese restaurants on Victoria Drive. Was also a bit dissapointed they did not have many pho options on the menu, but I guess they want to make sure their specialties are offered which isn't a bad thing!

Seriously one of the best Italian sandwiches I've had. The focaccia was fresh, soft and nicely seasoned on top. So far, I have tried the Classico, Bresaola, and a few bites of the Gabagol. By far, my favourite was the classico as I really liked the sweetness from the truffle honey spread. The sandwiches are a great size for lunch, or to be shared between two people. Going to work my way through the menu until I try every sandwich!

The atmosphere is great and the staff are all really friendly. Definitely reccomened this place to anyone looking for a bite or a drink in Griffintown. I also look forward to trying Mano Cornuto, the sit in restaurant connected to Mano Figa, which also looks amazing.
Tried Chez Claudette after googling best poutine places in Montreal, and it appeared on multiple lists. The menu is extensive with many poutines to choose from. There are also omlettes (breakfast only), sandwiches and burgers. They do not have a menu in English, but our server was a friendly gentleman and gladly pointed out the top 5 poutines.

I had the Fermiere poutine (a top 5, which included sausage, bacon, onion, mushroom) and my friends had the montreal smoked meat poutine, and a burger that came with a classic poutine on the side.

The poutines were good, and the gravy was flavourful but was definitely on the the salty side. The large is a generous portion and included a lot of toppings... however we all found that the meat was also extremely salty. We all ordered our own individual large poutine but next time would probably share, as it is a lot of food. Did not try the burger, but was told it was delicious.

With so many poutine restaurants in Montreal, I'd probably try another place next time I'm in Montreal. However, seemed like there were many locals eating inside so that's a good sign!
Decent bakery in Old Montreal. I went on a Friday morning before 9am and there was a short line, but the wait was long as there was only one person working. However, server was very kind.

The almond croissant was ok - there was not enough almond flavour in my opinion. However, my friend really liked it. The matcha latte did not have enough matcha flavour and just tasted like milk.

I don't like that prices of the pastries are not listed. Two almond croissants and a matcha latte and was $18... but I have no idea what the cost per item is. There is one big table to sit at, but it seems like more of a grab and go bakery.

With so many bakeries in Old Montreal, not sure I'd go again. However, a lot of people were going in and out, so it seems like a well loved bakery/cafe in the area!
