Oishi Japanese Restaurant

Food: I got the seaweed salad, Gyoza, Fuji Mountain and Worcester Maki roll. honestly, I’m quite disappointed by the overall quality as everything was just rather soggy. For eight dollars of seaweed salad the portion is screaming. The Gyoza’s would have been decent if they were crispy fried. Both the sushi rolls tasted like they’ve been sitting for a little too long and the wraps were soggy. Overall, it just wasn’t fresh.
Service: I ordered takeout, which was fine when I scheduled to pick up at eight. It was already ready a little earlier.
Ambiance: it’s rather quiet but spacious. They recently renovated the place so it’s rather nice inside.
Location accommodation: there’s parking on the side towards the right side of the restaurant.

Food: I got the thai tea, crab rangoons, and grilled pork rice plate. The thai tea was bit more water down, not as much flavor as I thought would have. The crab rangoons have little filling and it taste more on the sour cream cheese side but with the sour sweet sauce it was decent. The grilled pork was great, you get alot for $17 such as 2 cuts of pork chop, rice, friend and vegatables. The porkchops was seasoned well and tender, which help cutting it much easier.
Service: I ordered takeout which took about 20 min to get ready for lunch time on friday, so it came out in a timly manner. They have a front desk where you wait for someone to hand off the food to you.
Ambiance: It's gives a family orientation vibe with vietnamese decor, it's what you would expect at any resturant similar to this.
Location Accomodation: They are located in a plaza where theres plenty of parking but they are moving soon to a new locations which will also still have free parking lot.

Food: everything was prepared well and promptly. Started off with a miso soup, which had a sweeter undertone with a bit more miso flavor that was saltier than the other ones I’ve tried. we had some spicy edamame which wasn’t as spicy as I had thought. It’s more salty with chili oil? The crispy rice and tuna was rather simple, feels like the tuna was rather skimp so you had to ration it with the rice. Then we had the Kobe sushi, which was absolutely delicious with the Wagyu combined with the white cheese on top as it was not overpowering. The seared otoro had a sweet savory with a twist of a lime zest, on the soft side. The gator Emporium had an interesting twist with the potato chips, which I feel like they’re not as crispy as they look as as if the chips were not fully developed, so it’s undercooked slightly. But otherwise it’s one of the better sushi that I’ve had in Massachusetts
Service: our server was fine. I believe you don’t get one designated server as some came to check on our table. I did ask one of my the server if I can get some eel sauce and spicy mayo and was directly ignored so that was kind of rude, but none the less still got what I needed in the end
Ambiance: it’s rather spacious and great for bigger parties, like birthdays or get together. Definitely a more modern aesthetic to Asian culture, very beautiful decor
Location accommodation: it’s in a relatively newer Plaza in Westford. It has good amount of parking. We went around 8 o’clock for dinner on Friday, which wasn’t too busy, that you can go in for a walk-in. You can make a reservation of your desire time the day before.

Beautiful restaurant and sophisticated. We tried some of the smaller dishes which the beef tartare was fresh and well balance with the chips on top. The scallops on the other hand with the sauce on top was too salty to my liking but the cucumber with it was really good idea.

Located on Newbury st, where Parking can be hard to find but once you get inside, it’s definitely aesthetically pleasing. There’s a lot of pink in the walls. The oysters we ordered are very fresh and they come in different types. The brunch menu was pretty good but interesting combo on the snow crab toast as it’s a little bland, but the pistachios make up for the saltiness. The egg Benedict with salmon had a nice creamy fresh blend together. Although if you come in first thing when it opens, there’s a lot of servers on shift that just stand around and it’s kind of uncomfortable just them seemingly watch everyone? Their service was fine, the bare minimum. I know this place gets pretty busy during the day so reservations are recommended.
