Conrad Washington, DC
I had the pleasure of staying at The Conrad in Washington D.C. while attending a conference taking place at the nearby Convention Center. The location was perfect - particularly because the weather was great.
You enter the hotel on the ground floor and take the elevator to the 3rd floor reception area. The check-in desk was always staffed and greeted us pleasantly.
I had a room on the 7th floor with a view that looked out on the nearby intersection. I have to say, I did sleep very well at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and quiet.
The hotel restaurants are on the 3rd floor lobby level and are fantastic. In addition, they have a rooftop bar that is worth checking out.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Honestly my only complaint is that every single time I needed to leave I got confused on how to go from the guest room elevators to the lobby elevator. It feels like there just needs to be one simple sign added.

Pasadena Symphony and POPS
Really enjoy the Pasadena Pops Summer Series. Michael Feinstein is fantastic, incredibly talented and funny. The Arboretum is a lovely venue. It does feel like the flow has been figured out. Parking is easy. The shuttles are quick. Lines for food can take a little but that is up to the truck.
