A great little shop to get all those German goodies at quite reasonable prices. (Strangely comparable to the German Christmas markets).

Location and Layout: (5/5)
Smack on the main road makes it easy to access and get to. The store from outside looks small, but when inside it is laid out well with a center billing area and all the sections around making it easy to navigate even with more people.

A really great range of products to choose from. Love the fact that it is Christmas all year round for some of the sections. They also have the Swiss cow bells if you fancy. They do have cuckoo clocks which are really well made. We picked one up and are very happy with it. Packed well for long journeys as well.

Service: (5/5)
Excellent, the staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable about everything that is in the store. They were helpful with choosing and packing things well.

Summary: (4.5/5)
All in all a great little store to visit and pick things up in especially around the Christmas season.
Fantastic location! Incredible if you are planning a date and want to surprise your significant other. Friendly staff and a good selection of food and drink.

Location & Ambience: (5/5)
I would give this area a 6 on 5. But that is because of the vibe of the entire street. The street is full of a great selection of restaurant from Asian to continental. The vibe during the evening and sunset are perfect. It changing sky and the feel of a small town make for a great evening view.

Food & Drink: (4/5)
The beer is a selection of the usual and nothing too out of the ordinary. The burgers were good as were the portion sizes. The flavours were all there and the salad was great. All in all a great option for food, but nothing that will blow your mind. I enjoyed it, but given the incredible food in Amsterdam overall, it’s hard to give it full marks. Nonetheless a great place to sit and grab food. After all an experience of eating out is an experience that involves all the senses.

Summary: (4/5)
Ambience, ambience and ambience. This is the place to be. A must try. A ways out of the city, but totally worth the trip down.

Broad selection of fruits and vegetables and a place to get good paneer!

Location & Layout: (4/5)
Located in the square with AH, Action and Kruidvat. It’s easy to spot and can be clubbed with other shopping. The fruits are kept outside and most of the veggies are kept inside. There are freezers towards the back for cheese and meats. There is a olive counter near the cash payment point inside.

Assortment: (5/5)
For the small space they certainly manage to fit a lot of stuff. Great selection of fruits and veggies. Good chillis. Good paneer and well priced. The other produce like rice etc are available. Spices are also here. They have a good tasting olive section.

Summary: (4.5/5)
All in all a great place to pick up stuff. Friendly staff and a broad selection make it good.
Looking for a great place to get fresh chicken & lamb, fresh vegetables and much much more? This is definitely the place to pick it up.

Layout: (4/5)
The store inside is fairly small and may seem a little tight to move around, but the good thing that the store has done is have a lot of other things placed outside. The fresh produce is all outside making it easy to pick up all the things you need. Towards the left are veggies and towards the right are the fruits. Once you enter you have 5 aisles. The meat and cold products like yogurt, olives and peas etc. are in the first. The other aisles all have things from rice to nuts to chocolate. Essentially all that you could possible need.

Covid Regulations: (5/5)
I think that they do a great job as do the customers. Everyone keeps a good distance and all the staff wear masks. There are also screen separators at the meat and checkout sections. There are spaces marked on the floor to ensure people keep the distance. All in all a good experience.

This is perhaps one of the best places to pick up really fresh chicken and lamb on this side of town. I literally cycle more than 2 km one way to reach here because the quality is really worth it. The chicken is always fresh and they have a variety of cuts that can be taken. They also have a broad selection of lamb and other non-veg. They also have some that are already marinated potentially making it easier for the customer. If you are nearby, this is the best. The prices are also extremely reasonable in my opinion.

Assortment: (5/5)
For the size of the store, you will be surprised as to how much they actually have. From tea, nuts, basmati rice, spices, middle eastern bread, meats, olives (marinated in different flavours), things for baking, chocolates, toiletries and fresh produce. I mean, this is actually a great place to pick stuff up. Also the most economic place to get coriander and mint leaves.

Service: (5/5)
Too notch! I usually go here for the chicken and the staff at the meat section are super nice. Very quick and they really accommodate different cut requests. Really great experience.

I really like this place and hence decided to write up a good review. This is a great place to pick up chicken, but there is also so much more. Highly recommended.
One stop shop for all things Indian, from groceries to cosmetics and vegetables and frozen foods. This is certainly one of the best Indian grocery stores in the city.

Location: (4/5)
It is located towards the west of the city and might be a bit of a trip for anyone living in the Center or the east. It is located close to the Tram 17 line and very close to Lelylaan Station. It sit near the corner and is quite visible from the signal.

Store layout: (4/5)
The store is slightly on the smaller side, but don’t let that deter you. The items are well displayed and easy to locate. As you enter the first aisle has products from Suriname and lot of pickles and pastes. The second aisle has masalas and cosmetics. The third as tea and lentils and the fourth has Haldirams and some sweets and Maggi. There is a vegetable section and a frozen section towards the back. Finally there is an Indian sweet section near the checkout.

This place is brilliant. You can find anything and everything you may need to cook any kind of Indian food. You will also find that the quality of the products is really good. I have been shopping her for over year before posting this and can assure you that this is an excellent option. As mentioned they have almost everything. I must call out some notable things (1) Vegetables here are really good especially the bitter gourd, Indian shallots and ladies fingers - found them always fresh (2) Indian Sweets - very good quality and they have excellent packaging when you want to gift it to friends (3) the frozen section has such a wide selection - coconut, naan and just about anything you can think of. (4) Excellent variety of South Indian rices
