My pint glass runneth over with Youngs Original (AKA Ordinary, a very fine pint).
A proper old school boozer close to Warwick Avenue tube station. Small public bar and snug on the corner, divided from the dining room by wood panels with hinged access doors.
We ate excellent fish and chips / bangers and mash. Comfort food at a realistic price.
Thank you Prince Alfred, simply delightful

Feeling positively Mediterranean in the garden on a warm September evening, with ripe grapes dripping from the vines.
Lovely draught bitter, and some excellent tasty goodies; jalapeño bites, chilli cheese chips and a margarita pizza.
Lovely place, will visit again

Swansea Bay has the longest single dune system in Europe, you can see it all from Kilvey, from Sker Point in the distant east to Mumbles Head, five miles to the west, with its distinctive double bump.
The city’s East docks dominate the view, then the commercial centre further west, and the other great hills that back the bay. Unlike Kilvey, they are largely covered in housing. Kilvey alone remains wild and wooded despite its proximity to the suburbs that wash up against its flanks.
The viewing point is much neglected, a sea of broken glass litters the ground, along with the remains of impromptu campfires. The paths off the steep scarped front of the hill have been chewed up by trial bikes, rendering them extremely rough underfoot.
I pedalled up on a bike, starting from the stadium, the track up past the communication towers is solid. A dismount and walk down to DanyBeacon, followed by a steep and one way defying descent to the lights at the New Cut Bridge
