Pro tip for parking to fish the pier! Park in the parking garage across the street from the pier. Take the parking ticket to the pier pay $6.00 for fishing the pier, the staff will validate your ticket so the garage parking is only$5 for all day long parking! If you park anywhere else it will cost you big for just a few hours of parking. Now to the pier. I got there late in the morning and fishing was slow but it was my first time there. The people, the staff were super friendly as most fisherman are. I was 1 of a few who actually was catching fish. The weather was nice and the view of the clear water was awesome. Great family fun place to go. Definitely worth a trip to see the sights and feel the ocean breeze!
