Dropped by this place last evening and I have to say this place inside Kohinoor continental is undoubtedly an amazing place to dine in.
Talking about the ambience it's that old money with a touch of modern retro decor to it. Loved the rustic yet elegant style bar and it looks amazing in my opinion.
Coming to the f&b part, in drinks we tried their inhouse special cocktails and they were superb. The mixologists have done a great job I would say. Our top picks would be Green appletini and Lemongrass hopper.
For the Appetizers we had their signature black burger which was charcoal infused burger bun having crispy and juicy chicken inside. It's a must try if you are here. Also had their Zyatuni chicken tikka which was hands down one of the best kebabs we have had off late. Super juicy and evenly cooked inside out.
Later for the mains we had American schnitzel which was crumb fried flat chicken breasts (2pcs) served with fried and steamed veggies. The chicken was crisp coated from out and succulent from inside. Amazing one. Lastly we tried their Chicken Biryani which would easily suffice 2-3 average eaters. The chicken was cooked on to dum and it had a strong fragrant aroma to it. It's a pure delight for all the north indian food lovers like me.
For our sweet tooth cravings we had their Creme brulee which was super soft and fresh and had a lovely taste to it. We would also recommend trying out their Gadbad which is equally good.
The place is truly a delight for the food , ambience and of course for the location.

The Brasserie

Visited this place few days back for lunch and we had really nice dining experience I would say.
Hilton undoubtedly is one of the finest brand when it comes to hospitality and impeccable f&b services. The brassiere by Hilton is one such creation by the team Hilton.
They basically have this beautiful Brasserie cited at the basement of Hilton Mumbai which serves amazing food and beverages. They have buffet as well as a ala carte options to try. We opted for buffet as it was massive and had some incredible options to try.
Talking about the ambience part it's plush and elegant and the premises are very well maintained overall. The buffet arena is very well arranged and it's easily accessible too.
Coming to the experience of buffet, so they have really nice and wide spread options to choose from also we came to know that they have cyclic menu where in lunch and dinner dishes are altogether different. To start off they had two varieties of soups, salad counter where you can make your own salad, a proper salad counter wherein there were more than 8 types of salad, bread basket along with assorted cheese platter, For the appetizers they had mushroom tart, kalimiri paneer tikka, chicken tikka, fish tikka, chicken in chilli oyster sauce and what not. The mains were equally good consisting of Murgh lababdar, paneer lababdar, chicken biryani, barista pulao, Thai herb noodles, grilled chicken steak and lot many dishes where we had forgot the count. To my surprise every single thing over here was spot on and the critic in me couldn't find a single flaw. It was as good as it can get.
Lastly the favourite part of every buffet which is dessert spread was very good too. They had decent 10-11 options in all and that's more than sufficient as they had carefully curated the menu in my opinion having mix of Indian as well as western Delicacies. We loved their jaggery milk cake , gulab jamun, rasmalai, chena toast, cheesecake and the list goes on and on.
Hilton truly provides you one of a kind hospitality and the staff here is super duper helpful and attentive. Captain Aakash and Manager Manish made sure we have the best experience and we did have. With the perfect balance of great f&b and amazing hospitality Hilton is truly a great place to be. We will be coming here again super soon to try their A la Carte menu.

Banana Leaf Matunga

Banana leaf have opened their doors now in Matunga and we couldn't resist ourselves from visiting this one.
In the past I have tried Santacruz and Kamala Mills one and had incredible experience.
Banana leaf is truly a great place to be for quality and authentic south indian food.
Talking about the ambience of this one it's elegant as usual with some fine touches of South Indian elements. Coming to the f&b part, in drinks we tried their strawberry Milkshake and red kiwi as they are seasonal refreshments which are now available at banana leaf. Both the drinks were quiet good and we loved the consistency of strawberry Milkshake. For the appetizers we had thatte idli which is basically a big idli topped with gun powder and ghee, also had rajni dossa which had paneer, cheese and potato mix. Loved this one. Upon captain's recommendation we also had their melon magic in drink and paneer 65. It was too good and the paneer 65 had perfect bite to it.
Coming towards main course we tried their Malabar curry with appam. What an amazing dish it is! The Malabar curry had coconut milk base with lots of veggies in it. Too good. Last up we had kalan biryani which is basically mushroom biryani which is prepared in Kolkata style.
For our sweet tooth cravings we tried their akhrot halwa and elaneer payssam. If you are here then do not skip on these two Delicacies. It's simply too good and super tasty as well.
Hospitality was top notch. Captain Laxman is truly very helpful and he made sure we have the finest dining experience.

PCO Cocktail Bar

So we been to this super fancy place in lower parel last night for dinner and it was indeed one of a kind experience I would say. Talking about the place it's a speakeasy bar which has this really nice vibe to it and has fabulous crowd walking in for dinner. In PCO you can only enter by entering password and key is sent to your reg mobile once the reservation is done.
Coming to the f&b part here they have undoubtedly nailed totally. In drinks we had PCO Mood Cocktail so basically this is made on request with your choice of spirit and few tweaks done by the mixologist resulting into superb cocktail. Alos had berry collins and would recommend the same for all the Teetotaler out there. For the appetizers we had Philadelphia Cream dimsums which was by far one of the best veg dimsums we have had. Soft shell crab bao got our attention and this was banger too. The flavors were very well balanced and the bao was super fresh. They also had this fiery Asian bbq chicken which is a new add on to their menu and yet to be listed but this one was fantastic! Even the portion size served was good. For the mains we opted for Mushroom with truffle Cream and goat's cheese pizza which was made to perfection and in most authentic way it can ever get. It would easily suffice 2-3 heavy eaters. Lastly for our sweet tooth cravings we had Tiramisu which was fresh and melt in mouth. It had such nice texture to it. Would totally recommend trying it out.
PCO do offer splendid hospitality too , captain Ronny had helped us getting finest dishes on our table.

Oye Kake

Few months back we had visited oye kake ghatkopar outlet and we had totally loved it hence we thought of giving this one a try and lower parel branch too made way to our heart.
Oye kake is probably one of the best restaurant out there serving finest quality pure veg food.
Talking about the ambience it's quiet pretty and looks elegant. The best part here which I love the most is the serving plates and other few elements which uplifts your dining experience.
Coming to the f&b part, in drinks we tried their mango Milkshake from Mango menu. It was super thick and yum! Also tried dry fruit lassi which is their best seller and superb! In appetizers we tried lasooni soya chaap which was the best dish of our entire meal and we would strongly recommend. Also tried Mirch Lasooni Paneer Tikka which was on a slightly spicier side but the smokey presentation and flavor of live charcoal is pure delight. They had pretty good options in chaat hence we decided to order one. Samosa chole is what we ordered and it was quiet filling and tasty. It had all the elements you can ask in a perfect amritsari chaat. For the main course we ordered for veg tiranga which is basically half portion paneer gravy and half portion matar gravy. Overall the dish is quiet creamy and tasted fab with naan and laccha paratha alongside. Lastly we ordered for Amritsari pulao which had lots of beans and veggies to it. It was tasty and had fresh flavors and aroma of ground spices too. For the dessert we tried the Mango and cream (again from their mango menu) it had few pieces of fresh mango topped over mango fresh cream which was chilled and made to perfection. Loved it. Oye kake is definitely one of the best places you can think of when it comes to amazing food and hospitality.
