A nice little playground. Looks like there is shade in the afternoon, but not in the morning.
This seems like a nice neighborhood spot for a short walk through the woods, but probably not worth a visit if you don’t live within walking distance. Not that it’s bad, there are just better spots around. There’s a lot of litter and broken glass. Aside from that, the creek looks like a fun place for kids to splash. Just a heads up that the creek is used for storm water management. There’s a notice that the water level can rise rapidly.

The main entrance is behind the Crystal Woods Pool/playground, southwest of Fran and Caryn. There’s also a foot trail just north of 8th Street and Chowan. You cross over a shallow part of the creek to get to the main trail. And there’s also another entrance at the southernmost part of the Lincoln Ave loop. That trail leads to some stepping stones across the creek.
