This is a nice market place. It's a big market, although only two stories high, the marker is spread over a big area. There are many types of products on display here, ranging from household furniture, to clothes, stationery, wholesale foods, a wet market, etc. You'll find that this place serves most of your daily purchase requirements and then some. Most stores here will let you haggle, and as a matter of fact, one definitely needs to haggle at this place, unless you're willing to pay a hefty price. This place is also popular for sourcing imported items, be it food or otherwise. Overall, if you live in the area or are looking to come here for some special items, this market will very much be able to serve your needs.

The place is still holding onto its traditions. They have almost remained unchanged over the past decade or so. The place has been maintained well, very neat and tidy and still having that old feel and ambiance. The service was prompt. Their menu is as typical as a Bengali -Chinese restaurant can get, but it's a reliable and safe menu. Although we weren't expecting any grand quality, their quality of food seems to have degraded somewhat. This is basically still a family gathering type of place, so it's convenient for any family occasions. They also have two separate floors positioned as banquet halls, if you're looking to host any event.

Gotta be honest, we almost left because it was taking so long to get seats, but thankfully they managed seats for us just in time. We were 7 people. They don't have the option for booking in advance, it's first come first serve. Once seated, we gave our order and we were presented with complimentary teas (which apparently had unlimited refills but we didn't really go for seconds). The order took a bit of time, but the appetizers came in the nick of time. The mains soon followed. The food was really good. We were pleasantly surprised with the quantity of the mains and rice dishes. The place was pretty crowded but the overall ambiance was nice. Only thing I would've liked improvement on would perhaps be faster service and maybe a bit more dessert options. The chicken nanban is a must have. The beef dishes were also good. Be careful with the YCD special rice, it packs a big spice kick!

Good idea for touring London. You can opt to purchase a 24hr ticket which allows you to mostly cover all relevant spots in a day. And also included is a river cruise along the Thames. So overall its a good way of getting around the main attractions in London.

Great place to get your grocery shopping done. They also have good options for other everyday items and ready to eat meals.
