Small plates place, where we’d initially planned to get the omakase, but ended up arriving to dinner quite full from all the places we’d been beforehand. In that sense, the portions being rather small worked out for us. We did really enjoy all the dishes we tried: oyster, beef yukke, tuna, sakana negi, and JFC. Udon was alright too, though not as impressive as the others or particularly interesting/stand out. Food comes reasonably fast, though order is random and it’s like one plate every so often. Presentation is good and flavors weren’t overwhelming.

Would recommend having 4 ppl for a reservation if possible. Like most places here, a bit small and when we arrived for ours at 5:15, the place was already filled and we heard a server tell people there’d be a 1.5 hr wait. The playlist was kind of funny, but music is at a perfect volume for still actually being able to hear your companions.
Ordered from Uber eats and food came in reasonable time and pretty warm, so delivery experience was solid. Too bad the food is subpar. Pad Thai is extremely sweet. The crispy dark meat chicken is alright, nothing to call home about. Pad kee mao is ok, pretty run of the mill, but green beans and some broccolini? were tough and chicken had a woody texture (though that’s likely a chicken supply problem, not them)

Probably wouldn’t order from here again.
Had the beef cheek tacos and it was solid, especially with the sauce. A little under $13 for 4 tacos. My friend loved the burrito, but felt the beef taco was a little dry. If it wasn’t in Waltham, we’d love to go more often.

They seemed busy with people coming and going, but the wait wasn’t too bad

Take out only, street parking outside. Probably a little more pricey than average takeout food but i’d love to come more often if budget allowed!

Wings are fantastic if not burnt, though you can’t see it in the pic bc they’re all flipped to the lighter side. The drumsticks were fine, but the smaller pieces were pretty burnt and acrid on the skin part. Otherwise perfectly crispy, and taste is just right. Lightly lemony, not too strong and way better than it sounds. Was watching TV though and got oil all over my shorts. Eat with napkins nearby.

Lamb m’charmel is good, some spice but not spicy. Very much a cozy home cooked taste, not sure how else to describe.
We got the gamjatang and mul-naengmyun and no app since we weren’t super hungry. Total ~$21pp.

Both were decent enough, though I thought the gamjatang had too strong of a “porky” taste. Maybe needed to be boiled/strained for longer. My friend really enjoyed her naengmyun. I liked the mashed potato and bean sprout banchan. The pasta tasted too much like coleslaw and the kimchi was a tad too sour.

Doesn’t make sense why the gamjatang for one doesn’t include vegetables, but other than that no gripes. Dining area was comfortable and not crowded when we went for lunch
