I was fortunate to visit the Mattituck Historical Society with a friend who took me on a stroll through the museum complex of its various buildings with its many displays of miscellaneous items from the 18th & 19th century.
My visit was both educational and pleasant and I recommend it to all who visit the area. 👍😊👍

This is an exclusive hotel bar featuring a collection of rare spirits, exceptional champagnes and wines.... that truly nails a refined old-world-style, with its warm, comfortable and cozy atmosphere and outstanding service! 👍😊👍
I really enjoyed the place and the red wine, a Californian Pinot Noir (Kistler) available by the glass, was tops! 👍😍👍

I used to really enjoy this place but on my recent visit I found the place ridiculously overcrowded .... the music lacking the rock and roll vibe that I use to love & made me want to stay until the wee morning hours ... and the food disappointing! 🤔🙃🤔
The prices are on the high side but the bar service quite nice and professional.

This truly unique market, next to the busy Grand Central Station ... can be reached by either walking through the Grand Central Station's channels & main concourse or directly from 42nd street.

There are lots of vendors with beautiful displays of fresh and truly tempting items for all tastes, diets and occasions. 👍😍👍

To be honest with you I was a bit overwhelmed with the variety of products on sale ... but as a true foodie loved exploring the stalls & took lots of photos; some that I'm sharing with you. 😊😍👍

A nice American diner with friendly service and a menu with lots of food & beverage options for all tastes & times of the day.
👍😊👍

The portions are very generous, the prices competitive and the service very friendly!

When in the area I often pop in for a quick bite! 😊😋😉
