Biscuits served without butter or jelly?
We visited this place around 11 am on a Friday morning for breakfast.
We ordered two BDNYC breakfast specials. One was to have over medium eggs and the other order was to have the eggs fried hard. However when we received our orders both eggs were extremely soft with liquid yellow yolks.
The order also was served with a biscuit, hash browns and your choice of meat. The hash browns tasted like the potatoes were broiled in water then fried.
Now on to the biggest problem. I love a warm biscuit. This is why I ordered this meal. The biscuit was served without butter, jelly or anything. I don’t mind asking for condiments but Unfortunately we were unable to request the butter or jelly because after the waitress took our order she never returned to the table. So we sat there trying to grab someone’s attention to request butter but to no avail.
Eventually we ate the dry biscuits. Very disappointing.

Beach On Bourbon
We found this place our very first night in New Orleans. The music caught our attention almost immediately. This spot is larger than other places on Bourbon st.
There are three separate areas. As you enter there is a bar and several tables with chairs, the second area has additional seating, a bar and a large water fountain. The third area has a large dance floor with an elevated DJ booth and two bars located on the opposite end of the room.
The music, the space, the staff are all top notch. I am telling you…. This place is the real deal.
With several bars, a large dance space and great DJs you’ll have the time of your life with no regrets because we sure did!

The crowd is diverse, the music is exceptional and the drinks are reasonably priced…. What more can you ask for?

Jackson Square
Surrounded by historic buildings and homes this place is a great place to relax. Nested between the famous bourbon st and the French market this place offers a great escape from the sensory overload that is New Orleans.
This is a great place to relax and take some amazing photos. We sat on the grass and just enjoyed the beautiful weather before heading to the French market for lunch!

Prohibition
This place turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Location mid way down the famous Bourbon street, this place has a great atmosphere.
During the late afternoon hours they play a variety of music by live bands. During the evening hours they tend to play more of R&B jazz genre of music.
If you visit you’ll get the best of both worlds. Honestly Great music, great tasting drinks, and price prices.
They appear to have a rotation of live bands and DJ. If you visit multiple days you’ll experience a variety of genres.
The drinks are reasonably priced. They are famous for their extra large drinks.
The space is on the smaller side but feels spacious and airy.

Hotel Tylösand
We had the pleasure of visiting this hotel in Sweden. We were traveling through Sweden staying at several resorts. This one was a surprise gift from my fiancé’s parents! everything at this resort is first class. The moment you walk you you are captivated by its beauty.
The hotel is spotless. The lobby is mine, but I’m impressive collection of exotic cars and contemporary and modern works of art. Be warned you can spend hours marveling at the massive Art collect in this hotel.
The food is phenomenal definitely fine dining at its best. We had a late dinner despite the late hour of the food is fresh, hot and delicious. The steak melted in my mouth like butter and the crème brûlée was the best anyone in my dinner party ever had.
Everything in this hotel is modern and stylish, hotels massive and it’s located on a beautiful private beach.
There are several outdoor seating areas, including a bar in a restaurant. We did notice a game area and a spa that unfortunately you were not able to use during our stay.
Our room was huge, much bigger than my New York City apartment, and far more modern. It was a seating area that overlooked beautiful beach. The view from our room was a breathtaking unrestricted view of the beach. We were able to watch the sunset from our bed. I am speechless.
This place is definitely worth the price and distance
